[The sound of the rain really is soothing, even if his mouth feels dry from the lack of water they can drink. It's been a few hours by now and while he's legs feel uncomfortable due to the wet clothes stuck there, he's warming up nicely while pressed against his best friend.

Alongside the rain there's a steady thud against his ear from Oikawa's heartbeat. It's not intentional, but somehow during their nap his head has slumped a little to nestle there.

It takes a few minutes for him to wake up properly, blearily looking at their surroundings to check everything is alright. So far, nothing has happened and the mistake of falling asleep doesn't seem to be a problem. So far, anyway. After a few extra minutes he glances up, trying to shift without waking Oikawa up too. First and foremost they need to figure out what to do from here, that's why.]

If I fall, I'm taking you with me.

[There's a third kiss before Oikawa has had enough, his face is burning red and he can't keep it up without the constant smile. Shifting his arms to pull Iwaizumi in close and hide his face down on his shoulder again, Oikawa just stayed like that.]

[He breathes out, or at least forces himself to as it feels like it's stopped for a moment. His neck feels warm, even if Oikawa isn't properly touching there and it's shoulder that's being buried against. His hands press against Oikawa's back, rubs slow yet somehow sure circles against the skin.]

Grip the blanket.

[It's a warning, anyway, because if they don't straighten out soon he might lose his own legs to numbness.]

[pinpointing]

[Relaxing his arms if only to shift his grip from Iwai to the blanket while still loosely draping them around him, Oikawa lifts his head slowly so he can move with him when he does stand; he's not about to let Iwai go cold just to get feeling back in his legs.]

[As soon as the words are out of his mouth he wants to regret it. He's not sure how to pull this off, but one things is for certain--he needs help.]

Grip my shoulder with one hand, you only need one for the blanket.

[He takes a deep breath, grateful that he can rely on Oikawa to trust him completely with this. One hand grips at the other teens back as he shifts his legs, pressing his knees down to the floor. It's easier than trying to move up then squirm around, anyway. At least he's off Oikawa's lap now.]

Ready? [Whether he's ready or not he pulls Oikawa tight to himself, pushing him up just enough to get the room to pull the bucket out from under his ass. His head buries against his chest as he pushes that away, hand then reaching out for the floor so he can lower the other to it. He's careful to not drop him at this point, lest it spoil the mood they've got going on here.]

[pinpointing]

[Even if Oikawa doesn't know entirely what Iwai's plan is, he does as he's told and shifts one arm around his shoulders to grip on, and holds on securely even when Iwaizumi gets that bucket out of the way. Just with the warmth against his chest from how he has to hold him to lower him so kindly down, Oikawa ends up with a broad smile all over again, endearment in his expression. Mood not ruined, good job. Once he's settled on the floor, his hands move from gripping to sliding back over Iwai's shoulders and pulling the blanket with to secure it around him again, Oikawa tugs gently to get him to sit with him.]

[It makes it easier on his legs, anyway, which he stretches out behind Oikawa, one leg on either side of his waist at the point. Whether Oikawa crosses his legs or lets him sit on the floor is up to him, but he sighs in relief now. It's cold as fuck as his feet go outside the blanket, but he can feel blood returning.]

Better.

[pinpointing]

[Oikawa is definitely crossing his legs to give Iwai a seat still, but the positioning keeps him close enough that they're both relatively warm still; except for Iwaizumi's cold feet. Once he has arranged the blanket to stay again without needing to hold it the whole time, Oikawa drifts his hands down, then shifts to lean back just enough to get his hands back and draw them as far as he can along Iwai's legs. Yes, he's trying to use his hands to keep his legs relatively warm, but he can only get as far as his ankles for how far he has stretched them out.]

Good! [Leaning in the bit he can while still trying to accomplish his goal of keeping Iwaizumi's legs warm, Oikawa rests his head on his shoulder, that smile still on his face. He's happy, just having been able to kiss him. There's nothing more that needs to be said regarding how he feels about Iwai, at least, not with how in sync they are. He knows now.]

Neeeee, Iwa-chan.

[It almost has the opposite effect though, simply because the contact over the wet clothing sends shivers up his spine. His teeth grit, grateful that Oikawa can't really see his face at this point.

At least he can play it off as being cold.

It's a little more comfortable like this. It feels more secure too, knowing he can't accidentally topple off the bucket and send them both flying. He's a little concerned about the other's knee being bent all this time, but at least this is a different position to before. They can change it up as they go, anyway.]

What?

[pinpointing]

[Roaming his hands up to Iwai's knees and down to his ankles again, kneading gently and almost trying to squeeze those pants dryer where he could, Oikawa rubbed his forehead into place before turning it so his nose was skimming against his neck now - and his voice gets quieter even if his smile gets bigger.]

I want to tell you a secret. I think you already know it though.

[He releases a breath he didn't even know he'd been holding, eyes shutting as he leans into him. Really, it feels impossible to keep warm outside of the blanket, but he knows if he draws his legs back in and keeps shivering it'll give him away.

What a dilemma.

His neck tingles too and he almost tries to nudge it away, teeth biting into the inside of his mouth at the feeling of it. They've been this close before, of course, but it's different after kissing your best friend.]

Go ahead.

[pinpointing]

[Lifting his head up enough, lips brushing all the way up his neck until he could reach his ear, Oikawa grinned at how he could feel Iwai having those mild shivers. It can't possibly be from the cold anymore. Not with how his hands keep moving to keep him warm. With his lips against his ear, he mouths his words first.

[It's hard to not let his shoulder jerk up at the feeling of lips brushing over his skin, and while he's managed to keep the shivers down a bunch, he can't stop the hitch in his breath at the tingles there. Maybe if his skin wasn't damp this wouldn't be as much of a problem.

In the end, his head twitches and tenses as he struggles to keep still.

His stomach feels warm.]

Yeah, [it's soft, probably one of the softest voices he's ever used with Oikawa.] me too.

[pinpointing]

Say it for me, Hajime?

[Oikawa knows he means it even with that sweet sounding me too, but he wants the words in his voice. Smiling broadly against his skin, lips ghosting their way across along his jaw, peppering featherlight smooches all the way until he was at his chin, Oikawa just gazed at him. He was still wearing a pink blush from ears across his cheeks and even down his neck, but all facades have been dropped. Nothing but pure Tooru was smiling at Iwaizumi now.]

[His mouth feels like wool, honestly, because while he can give pretty cool seeming advice when they're in a tight spot, he lacks the same charisma Oikawa does -- and that's something that's needed for moments like this. At first he grunts, just a small sound of acknowledgement of what the other teen wants.

His hands are shaking a little and it's hard to breathe. It's not like he can't admit it, but it's difficult when so much is changing so quickly.



And Oikawa looks good like this. As actually himself, not the idiot he pretends to be.]

Tooru-- [God, it feels weird saying his given name, and for a moment his eyes squeeze shut. His skin where Oikawa's kissed burns and his fingers shift to press against his back. He knows he's flushed at this point too, there's no way he wouldn't be.] I-- [His voice is hoarse, and it's not just from lack of water.] --like you too.

[pinpointing]

[His heart felt like it jumped out of his chest with hearing those words with his name. Oikawa couldn't possibly smile any happier, his face already hurt. Breaking out into soft, giddy giggles all over again and combing one hand through Iwai's hair, he leans in to press eager, soft little kisses against his face. Just everywhere, anywhere he could reach.]

I feel like I'm going to pop. [Who cares if they're alone in this school, they have each other. That's all that matters to Oikawa. They will be fine, because they are together. They were together before, but now they're really... together. These admitted words weren't just for this time only.]

[He feels like he's unleashed a monster. As nice as everything feels it's a little overwhelming and his face twists into a grimace out of habit. Thankfully they aren't wet kisses or it'd feel like he was being slathered with kisses from an over-eager puppy.]

You're too much already, I don't think I could handle it if you did pop right now. [He tries to lean back, because it's embarrassing being peppered with so many all over his face at once. He's not sure how much he can take right now and if this got worse he might end up just knocking Oikawa out until he calms down.

Nothing has to change, there's just a chance for a bit more now. At least, that's how he's going to end up viewing it until things slip into place and he stops feeling like he just crashed through a window.]

[pinpointing]

[Oikawa lets Iwai lean back, if only to put his head down and try to contain himself. He's honestly just too happy, his arms curling again to just hold him close and bury his face to his neck once more.]

Sorry, sorry~ Iwa-chan knows how to really make me happy, jeeeez.

[Gross. It's not really, but there's very little he's used to when it comes to something like this. His hands rub up and down Oikawa's back before his own face presses forward, forehead resting on his shoulder.]

...Yeah. [He tries, anyway, despite all the hell Oikawa puts him through. God does he try.]

[pinpointing]

[WOW DON'T MEME ME WHEN I'M BEING FUCKING ADORABLE?!!?!?]

Neee, we should... probably get up. At some point here. [Oikawa doesn't want to let go, he's still too overwhelmed with the feelings that came from these sweet confessions, and he's more than happy to stay sitting like this - his knee doesn't ache at all, even if it's been bent for so long. Rubbing his cheek in place, rubbing his nose in place while trying to calm his giddy feelings, Oikawa soon started to relax with the soothing hands working on his back.]

[Ssh, shh it's all about us now.]

At some point. [He agrees with him, though it's mostly because where else do they have to go to right now? It's still raining, their clothes are still wet. They're a mess.] Are you getting restless?

[pinpointing]

I'm just.

[Both hands come up to gently muss with Iwai's hair, and Oikawa feels like he's being too much of a romantic fool. Ugh. He loves it, he loves this guy too much, he needs to calm down already. Taking in a few deeper breaths to reign in his need to pour affection all over him, Oikawa eventually can pick up his head and just grin at him.]

I'm fine. Just ridiculous.

[That, at least, feels nice. His hair is still wet, but Oikawa's fingers (his precious finger, precious hands that they need to keep safe) feel really good sliding through. He sighs out.]

You're always ridiculous though.

[While it's still rather mean of him to say in a moment like this, it's more subdued than usual.]

[pinpointing]

Waaah, not always, jeez Iwa-chan!

[The complaint has none of his real whining tone in it. Continuing to thread his fingers through his hair, stroking and messing with it to try and dry it better, Oikawa was content just like this. The overwhelming pass of emotions finally calmed down, and now he was just warm again inside and out.]

[This time a laugh slips out though, along with a grin of his own. It's nice to see that they're being fairly normal about this too. Like it's natural.

His hands swipe up now, gliding over his jaw.]

Pretty often.

[It's truly natural. The very best part.

Leaning into Iwai's touch with his eyes shutting, nuzzling against his hands, Oikawa ran his hands over Iwaizumi's hair one more time before drawing them away to lightly shake the dampness off - why was his hair still wet, they've been here for hours, it's a little concerning and it just prompts him to fix the blanket over him more.]

Like never, wow. Rarest occasions, like when you're being pretty cute, that's when I end up getting ridiculous because I can't handle how you make me feel.
