[It's not like she hasn't had a chance to take part yet, it's safe to say that from the get go they were thrown into the deep end and helplessly trying to keep afloat, but Cynthia is pumped to prove herself and show whatever bad guys (or things...) are on this current planet.

It's why she's already grinning to herself while she walks, her javelin in one hand and the other clenched into a fist.
