[A fast-food restaurant has decided to reel in more customers by setting up a crane game up front - and it worked, because this teenage girl is putting in a quarter in the hopes of winning that plushie red guitar obviously inspired by the Jammin' Ninja. It would look great on her study table...and would be soft and squishy enough for those times when she would need something soft and squishy to squeeze.

Kay is deftly working the controls, moving the metal claw ever so slightly until it is right over the guitar. Then she slowly lowers it...slowly...slowly...

Boy, she's really concentrating. A bead of sweat traces its way from the side of her head down to her cheek.]

[ With differing rover assignments, and the two of them both being incredible busybodies who simply can't say no to indulging others or putting a smile on their faces ...Inigo and Cynthia haven't gotten to spend a whole bunch of time around each other since recruitment. The Shepherds weren't exactly best friends, but Inigo has known her since his childhood, and of all of the girls she's always been the one he's been closest to. He has somewhat of an actual normal relationship with her, and she quells his whining and disappointment with her own demeanor.

Suffice to say, Inigo misses her quite a bit-- something he comes to understand only when seeing her after their green team assignments are dispatched. Once everyone is going on their merry way after the debriefing with Armada, Inigo is quickly coming up behind Cynthia, sword at his side, excitedly matching her pace to settle by her side. ]

Ah, how lucky for us that we get to pair up! [ Yeah, Inigo just assumes they get to naturally pair up here... ]

Sasha - sabotage

[ Orange-Green teamup? Or just Orange-Orange? Either way, Jet's pretty happy with this arrangement. Not only is he paired with a cute girl who knows her way around the brush of this dense forest, but he also gets to do what he does best: sabotage. Together, the two of them have splintered off from greater teams and are to attack the opposing military's supply line. Jet finds himself feeling grateful that the guys are so intelligent, because it gives him something to do... and besides, the army had already wiped out all of the native populations on the planet. He can try to use that to justify why what they're doing isn't that bad in the end, right? For once, he doesn't feel sick to his stomach and disoriented about his purpose here.

They're just in the trees now, playing the waiting game thing. ]

[ so one day yamamoto finds himself in ylisse and chrom was like, why not, the shepherds are always in need of some myrmidons anyway. which is where he finds himself now: smack in the middle of training just outside their current campsite, getting worked to the bone by lon'qu and the other men. the good thing is, yamamoto knows his way around a sword and he's fast, which makes keeping up with the older swordmaster a less daunting task than it would seem.

someone (probably gaius) calls for a break and yamamoto sighs, opting to sit right there in the middle of the field because geeze, that was about as grueling as squalo's spartan training back when they were stuck in the future. guess there's no time to play around when they're in the middle of a war. ]

Man, and I thought I had it bad before! Haha...
