[It's the middle of the night, and while it doesn't always happen tonight he's finding that he really needs to get up and start moving to the bathroom. Oikawa is right by him, and given the circumstances of this place it's better to move quickly so they don't get caught up in another spooky adventure with the ghost dog or something else.

The bathroom, in the end, comes as a relief. Rather than going to a stall, he steps close to the urinals instead, shifting his shirt to make things easier for Oikawa to open his trousers to help out. His left hand is moving to hold things in place.]

How does it feel to be able to walk around without pains now?

[pinpointing]

[He was afraid to let go. He was so afraid that if he let him go off on his own with how upset he was, that Oikawa would never see him again - even when he knew logically he was here, he was fine. He was okay. Oikawa stayed almost unreasonably attached for the better part of the last few weeks, just holding his arm or his sleeve no matter what they were doing. Neither were practicing volleyball - Iwaizumi for his hand, Oikawa for the new medical patch over his left eye. Depth perception is a little necessary when it comes to volleyball. Luckily, nothing was wrong with his eye, it was just bruised and swollen and would heal up with some time.

Having taken to napping against Iwaizumi's back when he settles down to study his book lately, that's where he was now. Having woke hardly ten minutes ago from another nap and feeling the way Iwaizumi shifts back against him, his hands shift to gently rub over his belly and up his chest to rest over his heart. Tilting his head to kiss him quietly, he shut his good eye and just relaxed like this.]

[He gets it. He gets the way Oikawa needs the reassurance. Though really even when he had first come back he isn't sure if he was there. He still doubts it sometimes now, when he lets his mind wander too much he thinks about how maybe he didn't fight back the urges enough. That maybe he was pent up enough to not bother. The thought sickens him though, and it's when he finds his eyes glazing over while reading that he pushes his book away to give Oikawa a little time, too.]

Yeah. Headache.

[He doesn't really, not quite, but he doesn't want to keep reading like this. His head tilts to accept the kiss anyway, hands gliding up to stroke along Oikawa's thighs over the top and down to his knees.]

[pinpointing]

Too much reading tiny print.

[Kissing him again, then again and again with soft motions and gentle tugs with his teeth, Oikawa hummed low and quietly at the feeling of those hands smoothing along his skin. His lip still had a tender spot in it, but the split was relatively healed by this time. Nosing gently at his jaw and sliding one hand up to bring it around and knead at the back of his neck, he just breathed in deep.]

Mm. [It's the only sound he makes for a moment though, eyes shutting as Oikawa's mouth. He's gentle with him in return though, worried about his lip. About the injury he put there.

He's been a lot more wary of actually smacking Oikawa after this, instead taking it out on inanimate objects instead. It's when the hand reaches his neck that he really does sink into the other, huffing out a soft breath as his hands curl inwards, aiming to grip at the other's shorts as his spine tingles.

[pinpointing]

[This is what he likes best, nowadays. When he can get Iwaizumi to just relax with him, to not feel like the world is crashing all around them and they're trapped. It's not a lie, to want to feel like this is all a dream. Continuing the soft kisses, peppering from his lips along his jaw and then back, Oikawa keeps kneading at a tense muscle he can feel and smiles.

It's good, to feel him slouching into him. Curling his other arm a bit more firmly, hand stroking over his heart still to just feel the beat to tell him he's there, Oikawa whispers against his mouth.]

I love you, Hajime.

[His breathing eases out with the kisses, with the soft kneading into his neck and he groans in the back of his throat. His eyes flutter, heart speeds up to the point that Oikawa should feel it.]

Maybe you shouldn't. [His mouth doesn't pull away, but even with how his body is reacting, looking up and seeing what he's done to Oikawa's face... it hurts.]

[pinpointing]

Don't say that.

[His arm holds him tighter, pulling him more firmly to his chest with that soft grip against his skin. Oikawa nips at his lower lip a little roughly before kissing him once more. Don't say that ever again, please don't. Slowing that kneading to shift, tugging him to face him better so he can kiss him more comfortably, Oikawa combs his fingers into his hair now.]

You remember me saying I have an unshakeable trust in you, right? That still holds.

[catenate]

[He makes a muffled noise of protest at being manhandled, but at the same time he gets why Oikawa is doing it. Still. Looking at him, like this, is hard. He won't look away anymore, but.

He reaches up, thumb grazing the edge of bandages.]

That's because you're an idiot. [He smiles though, even if it cracks at the edges.] A lovable one, sure, but still an idiot.

[pinpointing]

I'd rather be an idiot in love than a miserable fool.

[Still stroking his hair and tracing the shell of his ear, Oikawa opens his good eye to just look at him with warmth. He's truly happy he's here now, he's with him again and Oikawa couldn't ask for more. He's alive. Slowing the kisses to stroke his face and press their foreheads together, he gave a quiet smile.]

So knock that off. I'm always going to love you, no matter what.

What if you're both? [He shifts his hold, pinching the good side of his face gently. But there's still something in the way he kisses and touches him that's... well it's full of guilt, either way.]

But yeah, I love you too but... It doesn't change what happened.

[pinpointing]

It doesn't. But stop beating yourself up over it. You weren't you.

[Drawing his touch back down to trace simple patterns over his heart, hearts over his heart with just his fingertips, Oikawa kisses the tip of his nose now.]

I forgive you. Everyone else forgives you.

[catenate]

[He has to bite his tongue at first, but then he shifts himself up, nudging his knees around the sides of Oikawa's hips, shifting to straddle him.]

How am I supposed to when you still have this, idiot? [His fingers slides over his face now, dropping slowly. His thumb grazes the place on his lip that had been bust.] Then there's this too.

[pinpointing]

Then when it heals in another few days or so, you'll forgive yourself?

[Snorting gently, letting Iwaizumi shift to settle in his lap like that and drops his hands to stroke up his legs and hips, Oikawa tips his head to kiss his thumb.]

I'm not holding this against you, Iwa-chan.

[catenate]

... [He stays quiet for a long moment, and really like a cat that follows pettings, his hips raise a little as Oikawa finishes the movement. He's not really thinking about it, even when he squirms to get comfortable again after.]

I know you're not. It's just... [He pushes his thumb against his mouth gently, encouraging him.] What if it happens again?

[pinpointing]

[Oikawa is making an idle note of the way Iwaizumi's frame follows his touch, and if he weren't trying to reassure him about how much he loves him, he'd be teasing him silly. Kissing that thumb again, opening his mouth to give the pad of skin a soft nip, Oikawa kept his hands stroking along his legs and hips and back and forth.]

It won't. I won't let it happen again. I promise. [Lifting one of those hands to reach up and curve against the back of Iwaizumi's head, curling into his hair to keep him in place, Oikawa tugged as he leaned in to meet him for a warm, protective kiss.]

You-- [It becomes a muffled mph mrghh mpph when Oikawa pulls him into a kiss, him stopping part way to give up and kiss him back. His hands lay flat against Oikawa's ribs, ears, neck and cheeks flushing at the way that he ends up trapped in. It's only when he's let free that he speaks again.]

You can't make promises like that here. Though I know you'll try again, just... [I'd rather you wouldn't. I don't want to raise my hand to you again... not like that.]

[pinpointing]

I'll learn how to fight well enough to handle you properly. That's how I'll promise it.

[Smiling gently against his mouth and cracking his eyes open to look at him, Oikawa relaxed the grip in his hair just to stroke his neck and trace the shell of his ear then, bringing his left hand up to kiss his knuckles then.]

[He looks uncomfortable with the idea, stomach twisting. Sparring during taekwondo sessions is different, they have set rules there. What he did wasn't following any rules.]

What about emotionally? I saw what happened before.msorry you had to go through that. [He'll admit it to him.]

[pinpointing]

I'm starting to think I'm a crybaby after all this.

[Laughing a little and nipping his knuckles, kissing them again as his other hand drifted from his neck down to stroking his thigh and hips again, Oikawa leaned in to kiss him again softly.]

I'll be okay. I just need you to be okay too.

You're only just realising? [Something flutters inside his chest at the kisses and nips on his knuckles. His hand twitches, body squirms slightly as he tries to tilt his face away.]

I'll be fine. I just need more time.

ehhehe it's fine

[pinpointing]

I never cried so much in my life since we got here.

[Kissing him again, chasing his mouth to kiss at his cheeks when Iwaizumi turns his face, Oikawa laughs a little at that and he curls his fingers more firmly against his hand to keep it near. If he doesn't let him kiss him there, fine, those kisses descend on his knuckles again, tracing out each finger with his lips.]

That's okay then, take as much time as you need. I'll always be right here with you.

I can't really say anything either.

[His eyes lower as Oikawa follows his face, head dipping too. It's hard to believe he deserves any of this, but he knows any dispute of that face will only make Oikawa angry or upset with him. He exhales slowly. Frowns.]

Mm, like I said, you're an idiot. [But his breath hitches in the middle, fingers tingling where Oikawa's mouth goes.]

[pinpointing]

Hey, Iwa-chan?

[Kneading that hand at his hip in the end with his lips resting against his palm, Oikawa turns his eyes up to smile softly at him - just this appreciative gazing, because he couldn't care less about Iwaizumi continuing to call him an idiot. Whispering I love you to his skin with his expression going a bit impish, Oikawa lets go of his hand just so both of his own are roaming up and down Iwaizumi's thighs then.]

What is it?

[His head tilts as he looks back at him, only the timing of it all is hardly fair at all. He resists the urge to smack him on the head, hand twitching but honestly too afraid to lash out anymore, even if this way would be more playful that anything else.

Oikawa's hands move soon enough anyway, both grazing his thighs in nice patterns and speed. He chews his lip as he waits, struggling to think of where to keep his hands.]

[pinpointing]

[Oikawa starts with a soft Can I touch - before he remembers last time, that he said he wouldn't tell him no, he just draws his hands up to hook into the belt loops on his pants to hold him in place and shift to sit up, leaning to put Iwaizumi's back on the bed mat that wasn't far away and smile down at him with their hips still held together.]

I want to make love to you. [Those hands can go wherever he pleases, so long as they were on him.]
