[It's the middle of the night, and while it doesn't always happen tonight he's finding that he really needs to get up and start moving to the bathroom. Oikawa is right by him, and given the circumstances of this place it's better to move quickly so they don't get caught up in another spooky adventure with the ghost dog or something else.

The bathroom, in the end, comes as a relief. Rather than going to a stall, he steps close to the urinals instead, shifting his shirt to make things easier for Oikawa to open his trousers to help out. His left hand is moving to hold things in place.]

How does it feel to be able to walk around without pains now?

THE TIME AFTER...

[It's been a long few months, but with little hope for things improving the fact that he's received a medical book is something he'll definitely take advantage of. After classes he focuses on his two clubs and outside of that he buries himself in the thick volume he received, trying to memories the latin names for body parts, the problems people might have and other medicines that may help.

Today they're the only ones there but he's still not paying attention to his best friend, too focused on the words he's trying to learn today. He's getting frustrated with himself at this point too, finally slamming the book shut to rub his temples.

He's trying to learn too much too quickly, he knows it, but they don't have time.]

[pinpointing]

[He wanted to let him read, Oikawa knew how much he's been wanting to learn from that book - but for somehow getting jealous of a damn book, Oikawa found himself sliding up against his back to rub at his temples for him, nose brushing against the back of his neck.]

Iwa-chaan, take a breather.

[catenate]

[At first he almost forgot that Oikawa was still there too, that they're still stuck in this dumb place and that this isn't just part of prep work for college. He tenses up, relaxing as soon as he realises it's only his best friend.

He sinks into the hands on his temples, eyes closing at the relaxing touch. He mumbles something about needing to learn quickly, but it's not really focused in the slightest.

He does need a break.] Yeah.

[pinpointing]

How about you explain to me some things you've learned. Teaching someone else is a good exercise for your brain.

[With his hands lowering from his temples to work the back of his neck and shoulders, Oikawa leans against his back while kissing his temple now, lips slowly starting to follow wherever his hands go.]

[catenate]

[He takes a deep breath, closing his eyes as he tries to picture the image in the book that he's been learning from. Oikawa's hands are in two places at once it feels, so he raises his left hand to pat where his shoulder is, rubbing Oikawa's hand at the same time.]

Deltoid. [He pauses to move his hand across, taking Oikawa's with it until both of them are touching the back of his neck.] Cervical. Or C-Spine, it says both in here so.

[pinpointing]

[He should be more involved with Iwaizumi's studies, is what he is deciding immediately when Iwaizumi rubs at his hand and takes it with. Smiling warmer and kneading his knuckles on either side of the nape of his neck, working that hand down slowly, Oikawa lightly trails his lips down the side of his face then in peppered kisses, before his other hand is skimming down Iwaizumi's left arm again. Squeezing his bicep, then down his forearm, he traces his fingertips into the back of his hand.]

Here?

[His head tilts slowly, an acceptance and a means to give the other more space when the kisses come, it's a good way to help him relax, and he's willing to admit that much. He doesn't know if Oikawa wants him to say them all, or only the places he asks about so he leaves the rest of his arm, rolls his wrist a little as he peeks back at the other.]

Carpals.

[pinpointing]

[Nuzzling his nose to his cheek, smiling even as his fingers tip to thread between Iwaizumi's, he tips his head in so he can kiss him lightly on the mouth.]

Fingers?

[catenate]

[His head rolls back this time, murmuring the word against Oikawa's mouth. His hand squeezes at the same time, because this is something that's become important for him anyway. Something he can't take for granted anymore.]

Phalanges. [It's quieter than the others too, his right hand reaching back to pull on the back of Oikawa's head, tugging him in for a real kiss this time.]

[pinpointing]

[There's no fight to being pulled in for more of a kiss, easily moving into it with his eyes fluttering shut and a smile stretching onto his face. Stroking his thumb across his knuckles, squeezing again and breathing in deep through his nose, Oikawa happily kisses him - he can keep testing later about words.]

[It feels weird from this angle, but not terrible. There's no pull away until his neck starts to hurt, and when that happens his hand is pulling away too, automatically moving to rub and knead at the back of his neck.]

Sorry, just an awkward angle.

[pinpointing]

[Chuckling softly and shifting to come around Iwaizumi, then stretch out right across his lap, Oikawa takes that hand back down to kiss at his palm before guiding it to smooth down his chest. Grinning up at him and winking, Oikawa lifts their other joined hands to kiss at his knuckles now, murmuring.]

You studied torso already, right?

[catenate]

[It's more graceful than it should be when Oikawa sprawls himself across Iwaizumi's lap, takes his hand and kisses his palm as he does. He lets him guide his hand as he pleases, keeping it limp in his hold.

He exhales sharply, as though he'd forgotten what he was doing before when Oikawa speaks again.]

I did, but I think I just forgot them.

[He got distracted...]

[pinpointing]

We'll go with the easiest ones first then.

[Gently shifting it over to the right, over the heartbeat that goes strongly under his touch, Oikawa continues kissing the hand caught in his own while murmuring.]

Pectorals, right?

[catenate]

[His eyes flicker down from his hand and up to Oikawa's face. He swallows, once, giving a nod after.]

Yeah, pectorals. Then... [He pushes his fingers across, two fingertips circling Oikawa's nipple through his shirt.] Areola.

[pinpointing]

[Just the contact makes his nipples perk a little under his shirt, enough to make him exhale a soft breath against his fingers; Oikawa's eyes don't leave Iwaizumi's for even a moment, batting almost playfully.] Keep going.

[catenate]

[His eyes narrow a little, watching the stupid look on his face for a moment before he pinches the nub tightly. It's harder to do with fabric there, but it should be enough to send a jolt through him. He shifts his attention up, thumb grazing his collar bones next.]

Clavicles.

[He flattens his palm smack in the middle, rolling it up and down a few times.] and the oesophagus.

[pinpointing]

[That pinch makes him arch up slightly, but his eyes grew wider with a brighter spark to them for all Iwaizumi's teasing efforts. Oikawa stays put though, stays still even as his hand wanders and he thinks about throwing his shirt off. He wants that skin contact, wants to feel that hand on him.]

Good good. Sounds right. What's lower?

[catenate]

[His eyes flicker up to his face, and there's actually a little heat in his own expression this time, enjoying the way Oikawa's strings are plucked as he tests what he's learnt here.

But he doesn't give him what he wants yet, instead sliding his hand over to his side, palm stretching out over his ribs.]

Costal. [It's quieter now too, caught up in the way Oikawa holds himself back. His hand shifts in again, resting over his bellybutton, keeping him warm.] Umbilicus.

[pinpointing]

[He's patient, listening and waiting, waiting for the touch he's too fond of to go where he wants it to. Watching with still bright eyes, he licks his lips briefly before pressing a rewarding kiss to his knuckles - soft and light.]

[catenate]

[He skims right past it though, mouth twitching as he shifts it to Oikawa's knee, the one that had the injury before to massage the joint.]

Patella.

[pinpointing]

[You dick. Oikawa cracks a grin anyway, bending his knee to make it easier to reach with a light hum.]

[catenate]

[It's easier to reach his calf now, hand sliding down over the muscles, grip tightening until he reaches his ankle where he pauses to knead at that joint now, eyes still stuck on Oikawa's face as he touches him everywhere but where he wants it.]

Malleoli. [He reaches down then, untying then peeling off his shoe, reaching back for the other right after. He flings them aside, twisting his spine to reach a little better as he pulls at Oikawa's leg, pulling it up slowly and bending it back towards him. His hand curves up, using the heel of his foot to push.] Calcaneus.

[pinpointing]

[Laughing softly and letting Iwaizumi pick at his shoes, being of no help in removing them, he lets him grip at what he wants and pull his leg up like that, he's still grinning broadly and laying still so he can use his body to test himself.]

You're going to run out of joints eventually, Iwa-chan.

[catenate]

[He runs his hand up and down the back of his calf, then down the back of his thigh. He pushes down, tests how well he's been practising stretching his his hips at the same time. Hopefully just how he told him to after Oikawa asked before.

He doesn't pause even to answer, instead letting that faint twitching of his lips finally pull into a grin.]

And how needy will you be by then?

[Don't think he hasn't noticed.]
