[Maybe the fact that he hadn't hit him for being such a pest was a good indicator that he had no idea, though sometimes it was good to just ignore his best friend as well. Sometimes it could work to get him to stop. Sometimes.
Right now though he's busy shuffling around books, shoving his phone into his pocket to open in a minute. There's something suspious about the way he's saying it, about the way he's handling himself while explaining what they were about that have him curious. He pulls his backpack onto both shoulders this time, glancing at him as he shuts his locker again and opens the messages on his phone.
